A scavenger hunt was held in Akureyri, Iceland for 13-15 year old high school students to find trophies hidden around town containing letters that would spell a keyword when collected. Over 10 weeks, students solved weekly riddles outside of class hours that tested their motivation, resilience and resourcefulness to learn about the local history and culture by visiting different locations. The main goals were for students to appreciate the importance of history from a new perspective through independent exploration and initiative on their own terms without school pressure.

1. Students sit in a circle that gets progressively smaller as their language skills improve. They are given questions to ask one another to practice conversational skills.
2. The questions start simply, asking name, age, birthday, and progress to topics like hobbies, favorite foods, sports, travel, role models, personal strengths and fears.
3. The goal is to have students feel comfortable speaking one-on-one through structured icebreaker questions to improve their vocabulary and fluency in a foreign language.

Formative assessment, also called assessment for learning, focuses on continuously gathering evidence about student learning to inform instruction. Key principles of formative assessment include students understanding learning goals and criteria, involvement in self-assessment, receiving feedback on work quality and how to improve. Effective feedback is directly linked to learning goals, focuses on tasks not students, provides guidance for improvement, and is tailored to individual student needs. Formative assessment requires a shift from teachers judging learning to coaching students through the learning process.
The document summarizes information about Luigi Garioni School which has 5 establishments, 71 teachers, and 470 students. It details the school's curriculum which includes subjects like Science, Geography, English, Math, Art, Music, Physical Education, Italian, History, and Religion or Alternatives. Blind Spots in AI and Formulation Science Knowledge Pyramid (Updated Perspect...Ajaz Hussain
油
This presentation delves into the systemic blind spots within pharmaceutical science and regulatory systems, emphasizing the significance of "inactive ingredients" and their influence on therapeutic equivalence. These blind spots, indicative of normalized systemic failures, go beyond mere chance occurrences and are ingrained deeply enough to compromise decision-making processes and erode trust.
Historical instances like the 1938 FD&C Act and the Generic Drug Scandals underscore how crisis-triggered reforms often fail to address the fundamental issues, perpetuating inefficiencies and hazards.
The narrative advocates a shift from reactive crisis management to proactive, adaptable systems prioritizing continuous enhancement. Key hurdles involve challenging outdated assumptions regarding bioavailability, inadequately funded research ventures, and the impact of vague language in regulatory frameworks.
The rise of large language models (LLMs) presents promising solutions, albeit with accompanying risks necessitating thorough validation and seamless integration.
Tackling these blind spots demands a holistic approach, embracing adaptive learning and a steadfast commitment to self-improvement. By nurturing curiosity, refining regulatory terminology, and judiciously harnessing new technologies, the pharmaceutical sector can progress towards better public health service delivery and ensure the safety, efficacy, and real-world impact of drug products.
