INTERESTS IN ENGINEERING:
I am very interested in the field of alternative fuels and sustainability. I have enrolled in research
that focuses on alternative fuels and enrolled in an alternative fuels course at the University at Buffalo. I
also participated in the Green Program during the winter of 2014 where I traveled to Iceland to learn
about their accomplishments in the field of alternative fuels, specifically in geothermal and hydroelectric
power. I am also interested in working with heat exchangers and different types of reactors,and designing
them to meet needed specifications. I have taken multiple classes that taught me the theory and concepts
behind these unit operations, but I would enjoy the opportunity to apply that knowledge in a factory
setting.
