and equipment. Maintenance labor, utilities and capital improvement plans, working closely with the Vice President of
logistics, Director of Facilities, and the General Manager of the Distribution Center. Additionally I was involved in the
start-up of Burlingtons new West Coast Distribution Center. And after 4 years the complete tear down, and installation
of a brand new Distribution system. I also contributed to human resources, safety, and forklift training due to Staffing
shortages during the first 9 months of operations.
1999-2006, Mission Plastics: Maintenance Manager
My responsibilities included ensuring equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity. My
responsibilities included all plant maintenance, including the facilities, and equipment. My duties included scheduling,
calculating, and working within a budget, and scheduling preventive maintenance, with minimal downtime to
production. I was instrumental in the re-location project of the entire plant to a new location. I was an integral part of
suggesting and was part of a team that put together a strategic plan to produce our own electricity on site. This resulted
in a positive cash flow, which increased our return on net assets.
My duties also included being Safety Director for Mission Plastics.
1997-1999, Tecstar (Applied Solar Division): Maintenance Supervisor
I started out as lead electrician for first shift, working on Axitron reactors, water towers, compressors, wet
scrubber system, welding and fabricating, proxy sensors, and limit switches hydraulic systems. Maintained and repaired
MDA gas analyzers, flow meters, level indicators, pumps. After a year, I was offered the first shift supervisor position. I
was in charge of all aspects of facilities maintenance, and upkeep. This included supervising 31 mechanics. The
scheduling of 3 shifts 24/7. Preparing written procedures for maintenance, implementing preventative maintenance
schedules, subordinate training, and discipline.
1996-1997, J.G. Electric: Electrician
My duties were to install new electrical power and troubleshoot all types of electrical problems, such as energy
management systems, communication/computer problems, start stop stations, uninterrupted power systems, magnetic
starters and food preparation equipment.
1994-1996, Thermal Remediation Corporation: Electrician/Mechanic Sr.
My duties were to install and troubleshoot automated machines, PLC controllers, ac and dc motor drives,
installation of gear drives pneumatic systems, pneumatic instrumentation, conveyor drive belts. Bearings, 32 million Btu
burners. Water towers, rebuild water pumps, compressors, wet scrubber system. Welding and fabricating. Proxy sensors,
limit switches hydraulic systems. Maintain and repair MDA gas analyzers, flow meters, level indicators, pumps, forklift
repair.
1987-1994, JB Plumbing and Electrical Services: Electrician
My duties were to install and trouble shoot all phases of electrical systems from the ground up. Mostly industrial
and commercial jobs. Machines, PLC systems, energy management systems.
1983-1987, United States Air Force:
My duties were to troubleshoot and repair all types of electrical problems, i.e. motor starters, Cathodic
