January 2009-August 2009 GROUND WORKER/BANKSMAN SLINGER, Lango-ORouke Utility Pipe-laying Laying Roads Laying Curbs General routine lifts with Cranes August 2006-December 2008 SKILLED OPERATIVE, Amec Utilities I relocated to the South-East of England to take on this job role Part of a team that were in charge of trial holing from the isle of Grain to Shorne looking for HV cables, water mains & other utilities in the ground that may have affected the coarse of the pipeline This particular project took 6 months due to the fact that there were 22 kilometres to cover The next project at Amec that I undertook was working alongside the supervisor to excavate sheet pile & the installation of 24inch & 48 inch steel pipe Once interconnector project was completed I progressed onto being a pipe-fitters mate, this entailed the installation of the Pig Trap at the National Grid site at the isle of Grain The second part of this project was the installation of the AGI's at Gravesend and Shorne January 2004-August 2006 APPRENTICE FABRICATOR, Darlington Trailer Hire Whilst working at Darlington trailer hire the work consisted of refurbishment of old/new HGV trailers This entailed blasting and painting fabrication of new components that may have been required for the goods trailers The main base of work was the exporting of the trailers which meant for me as an employee I had strict time scale to complete my work in as I had to meet shipping times which meant very flexible working hours September 2002-January 2004 APPRENTICE FABRICATOR, Fab-Tech Engineering As an apprentice my duties were undertaking the smaller fabrications in the workshop e.g handrails for schools, and small structural steel work I also worked as a part of a team on larger projects such as installing mez floors in various factories as well as spray painting the products we made around the UK All References are available on request.
