Introduction to the Second Department of International Education, Guangzhou
Institute of Technology
The Second Division of the School of International Education was founded in September 2016.
It implements international common teaching standards and introduces advanced teaching
concepts from overseas. The school actively promotes international exchanges and cooperation,
focusing on training professional and international applied technical personnel. The School of
International Education has set up the Overseas Studies Department, which is responsible for the
application, visa and guidance of students studying abroad, and provides students with first-class
overseas study services. At present, the School of International Education has established deep
cooperative relations with the world's top universities and cooperates with overseas universities
to carry out "2+2" dual degree programs (two years’ study in China and one year’s study
overseas), "3+1" international joint program (three years of domestic undergraduate program
plus one year of foreign master’s program), and "4+0" domestic characteristic specialization
program.
Strict education standards
Our curriculum system uses small class sizes and interactive teaching. The teaching team is
composed of young and middle-aged backbone teachers with overseas background, foreign
teachers and industry experts. The classes are novel and active, and the courses are taught in
bilingual or English. We attach great importance to the school-enterprise alliance to help students
plan their career in a scientific way.
Quality alumni network
Regular alumni exchange activities are organized, and the alumni association also provides
scholarships for outstanding students to expand communication channels.
International schooling
We have established friendly and cooperative relations with dozens of foreign universities and
conducted joint training with many colleges and universities for mutual recognition of credits.
For example, the "2+2" dual degree program and the "3+1" international joint program are
different from the traditional way of studying abroad. Students can enjoy the official channels of
studying abroad at low cost.

Blind Spots in AI and Formulation Science Knowledge Pyramid (Updated Perspect...Ajaz Hussain
Ìý
This presentation delves into the systemic blind spots within pharmaceutical science and regulatory systems, emphasizing the significance of "inactive ingredients" and their influence on therapeutic equivalence. These blind spots, indicative of normalized systemic failures, go beyond mere chance occurrences and are ingrained deeply enough to compromise decision-making processes and erode trust.
Historical instances like the 1938 FD&C Act and the Generic Drug Scandals underscore how crisis-triggered reforms often fail to address the fundamental issues, perpetuating inefficiencies and hazards.
The narrative advocates a shift from reactive crisis management to proactive, adaptable systems prioritizing continuous enhancement. Key hurdles involve challenging outdated assumptions regarding bioavailability, inadequately funded research ventures, and the impact of vague language in regulatory frameworks.
The rise of large language models (LLMs) presents promising solutions, albeit with accompanying risks necessitating thorough validation and seamless integration.
Tackling these blind spots demands a holistic approach, embracing adaptive learning and a steadfast commitment to self-improvement. By nurturing curiosity, refining regulatory terminology, and judiciously harnessing new technologies, the pharmaceutical sector can progress towards better public health service delivery and ensure the safety, efficacy, and real-world impact of drug products.
