La expedición logró que 19 deportistas escalaran los volcanes más altos de Ecuador en 12 dÃas. Alcanzaron las cimas del Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Cayambe, Illiniza Norte e Illiniza Sur. Dos deportistas llegaron a 5,300 metros en El Altar pero tuvieron que retroceder por mal clima. La expedición requirió coordinación, trabajo en equipo y compromiso para cumplir los objetivos.
