An analysis determined that straightening the curved iPhone likely caused solder joints connecting the CPU to loosen or disconnect. To repair it, the technician removed the CPU and found a disconnected circuit towards the chip. They placed jump wires to reconnect the pins and soldered them in place under a microscope. Shawna has been a Lean Healthcare facilitator since January 2007 and has two years of experience as a technician in a cardiac unit. Since then, she has had various roles in Healthcare Quality and Safety. Shawna graduated from Simpson College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and a Coaching Endorsement. In 2010, she became a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and received her LEAN Green Belt certification in 2014. Professional troubleshooting tip for iphone 7 - Programmer Fast Guide A customer said 鐚 "I have this issue with the Touch ID where it won't always recognize my fingerprint 鐚 Sweaty finger and wet sensor result in Can't unlock ." what can we do in this situation? Today, vipprogrammer are going to talk about the broken iPhone 7 touch ID, how can we fix it? 1. check iPhone 7 again, turn on the iPhone, the touch ID cannot be activated. Then we go to settings (Touch ID & passcode), enter password manually, we can found that the fingerprint is grayed out. 2. disassemble the iPhone 7 and carefully remove the flex cable of home button, and observe it under the microscope, we can found that the ribbon cable was broken.
- 2. 3. use professional-grade to remove the coating off the wire on the ribbon cable, and then use the hot air gun to solder the tins with BGA paste flux, scrape the coating off the back of the wire, and then use hot air gun to solder the tins again. 4. use hot air gun to heat it up and weld after align the cutting wires, and weld the back of the flex cable with solder wire. 5. use multimeter to measure whether it shorted out, and then install the home button and test it. Everything goes well. 6. paint some UV curable solder mast on the wire to fix the wielding joint, then assemble the display screen and test it, congratulations, the touch ID can back to normal work. When you disassemble the LCD display assembly, please more carefully, because iPhone 7 is unlike previous iPhone models, it opens just like a book, along the side instead of at the top. The display assembly is still connected to the iPhone by cables along the middle-right side, so dont try to remove it entirely just yet.
