This document provides instructions for a media studies exam involving analysis of three advertisements from 2009 for Adidas, Stella Artois and KFC. Students will watch the advertisements three times and are allowed to take notes. They must then answer three questions. Question 1 involves analysing the advertisements' visual, technical and audio codes. Question 2 requires suggesting how men are represented in the ads and exploring how one chosen ad uses representations of men to sell the product. Question 3 examines why audiences respond differently to media texts using detailed examples.
This document provides an overview of psychopathology and the history of defining mental health and illness. It discusses how abnormal behavior and psychology have been defined. Throughout history, mental illness was often attributed to supernatural causes like demon possession. Hippocrates first proposed a biological explanation for abnormal behaviors and thinking. The rise of hospitals and more humane treatment methods occurred in the 18th-19th centuries. Defining mental health and illness remains difficult due to variability between individuals and cultures. Studying psychopathology is important for various mental health professionals to better understand and treat disorders.
Jerome Bruner was an American psychologist known for his work on cognitive development and learning theory. He proposed three modes of cognitive development - enactive, iconic, and symbolic. Bruner advocated for discovery learning, where students learn through active engagement by exploring and experimenting. However, discovery learning also presents some challenges like ensuring students test hypotheses properly.
Bruner developed an instructional theory model called the Concept Attainment Model. This model involves presenting students with positive and negative examples (exemplars) of a concept and having them determine the attributes and rules that define the concept. It follows three phases - presentation of data, testing concept attainment, and analyzing thinking strategies. The teacher guides students in evaluating different strategies

Applied anatomy common peroneal nerve injuryAkram Jaffar
?
The common peroneal nerve is most commonly injured in the lower limb because it winds superficially around the neck of the fibula. Injury to this nerve can result in foot drop and foot inversion due to paralysis of the muscles in the anterior and lateral compartments of the leg. This causes the patient to have an abnormal "steppage gait" and sensory loss on the front and sides of the leg and foot. Surgical treatment may involve rerouting the tibialis posterior muscle, which is innervated by the intact tibial nerve, to the dorsal foot to help correct deformities caused by common peroneal nerve injury.

It discusses different types of terrorism including political, religious, nationalist, state-sponsored, single-issue, and lone wolf. The document also discusses terrorist motivations, premeditated attacks, and how some attacks breach human rights by being indiscriminate.

*
This study was aimed to reveal effects of sensory integration training program on
improving attention span of children with mental retardation. To achieve this goals of this
study, 20 children with mental retardation were divided int two groups, 10 member
experimental group and 10 member control group. In this study, pretest-posttest control group
design was used and several t-tests were conducted to examine the effects of experimental
condition between two groups. Superlab Pro 10.5 was used to measure selective attention and
persist attention span. This study found that sensory integration training is not effective to
improve persistent attention of children with mental retardation, but effective for selective
attention.
Key words; Sensory Integration, Attention Span, Children with Mental Retardation.
