Three street artists known as The Toasters have been placing a stenciled image of a toaster in cities around the world since 1999. Using stickers, posters, and spray paint, the toaster image has appeared on streets, at music festivals, in sports stadiums, and on museum walls, spreading the artists' message in its purest and also abstract forms for over 15 years. The student chose to analyze The Toasters' street art project because they enjoy graffiti and are drawn to the striking colors commonly used, including black, white, orange, blue, yellow, and pink, applied through spray paint.
