New School Chapter study program: Start at the end by reviewing chapter summary or key points. Review the assigned questions/problems to determine what the professor thinks is most important. Outline the geography of the chapter. Then read  focus on big ideas. Go back and fill in your outline on a second read. Problems/discussion questions Go back and highlight the most important stuff.
