- 3. OBJECTIVES My students will solve equations using the correct order of operations by participating in relay solving games, collaborative group work, songs for the order of operations, exercises with calculator, and introduction to wolframalpha with a 100% accuracy in the span of 1 week.
- 4. DAY-BY-DAY BREAKDOWN DAY 1 Students will review their prior knowledge of the order of operations. Students will be taught how to solve equations for one variable- first as a class, then individual practice, then in groups of 4. DAY 2 Students will continue practice of solving variables for a single equation by participating in a relay race of equation solving. Students will be introduced to a system of equations with two variables.
