Sehingga jika dijumlahkan dengan analogi matematika, kemungkinannya menjadi -2 [-1+(-1)], artinya rugi investasi dan harus menanggung utang, atau -1 (-1+0), artinya usaha tidak untung dan rugi tapi harus menanggung utang, dan 0 (-1+1), artinya keuntungan baru mampu untuk membayar utang.
Banyak orang ingin mendapatkan keuntungan besar dalam waktu singkat dengan cara melakukan investasi. Mereka tergoda iming-iming keuntungan puluhan hingga ratusan persen per bulan. Awalnya mungkin iya, namun pada akhirnya bukan keuntungan yang didapat, tapi justru kehilangan seluruh uang yang diinvestasikan.

Sehingga esensi pernikahan (berkeluarga) menjadi kabur atau hilang, bahkan muncul masalah-masalah lain selain masalah keuangan.
Di sisi lain, pernikahan harus dipahami juga sebagai salah satu sebab perpindahan kepemilikan harta. Umumnya waris diprioritaskan dalam perencanaan keuangan di saat pensiun, padahal secara syariat seharusnya dipahami sejak seseorang memasuki gerbang pernikahan. Karena pintu waris dibuka sejak akad nikah dilangsungkan. Sebab-sebab mendapatkan waris ada 3, yaitu:
1. Adanya ikatan pernikahan.
2. Memiliki ikatan kekerabatan (hubungan ini akibat pernikahan juga).
3. Al-wala.

Apakah Islam mengatur perencanaan keuangan?
Larangan bermuamalah (berinfaq) dari lafaz yusrif (israf) dan yaqtur (taqtir), juga perintah baina dzalika qawama termasuk ayat mujmal berarti lafadz yang sighatnya sendiri tidak menunjukan makna yang dikehendaki dan tidak pula didapati qarinah lafzhiyah (tulisan) atau haliyah (keadaan) yang menjelaskannya; maa yaftaqiru ilal bayani (sesuatu yang memerlukan penjelasan). Klasifikasi ijmal diambil dari wahbah az zuhaili, ushul fiqhil islam, 341.
Lafadz israf & taqtir menurut makna lughowi (bahasa) dipindahkan kedalam istilah syariat, sepadan dengan hukum perintah ibadah shalat, zakat, dll, hanya perintah ini terbatas pada muamalah.
Maka israf dan taqtir diperlukan bayan (penjelas); bayan an naqlu minal manal lugawiyyi ilal manal istilahiyyisy syariyyi (memindahkan dari makna bahasa ke makna istilah syari). Bayan adalah ikhrajusy syaii minal isykali ilal wuduhi (mengeluarkan sesuai dari keadaan samar menjadi jelas); Wahbah Az Zuhaili.
Israf berarti menggunakan/ membelanjakan sesuatu lebih dari takaran yang layak (Al Buhuti, Kasysyaful Qina, 3/519)

With a background in projects spanning more than 40 years, Tim Lyons specialised in the delivery of large, complex, multi-disciplinary programmes for clients including Crossrail, Network Rail, ExxonMobil, Siemens and in patent development. His first career was in broadcasting, where he designed and built commercial radio station studios in Manchester, Cardiff and Bristol, also working as a presenter and programme producer.
