Education

Sooshin Choi is the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Design at the College for Creative Studies. His experience includes 18 years of automotive design at General Motors Korea and Kia Motors, 5 years of system furniture design at Fursys and 3 years of product design at DEKA Research and Development. He is a recipient of a number of prestigious awards. He has taught at and served as a School Director at the University of Cincinnati for 10 years prior to joining CCS. His research topics include design innovation and inclusive design. He is a frequent speaker and judge at international venues and was the Chair for the IDSA International Conference 2016.
