About
I am interested in investigating the design and use of artefacts, tools and methods 'in context'. Research in this area poses challenges in how one should deal with the complexities of context, i.e. how one should choose focus, gather data, do analysis and present findings.
I have developed DiCoT as a tool for engaging with context from a Distributed Cognition perspective. I have also led work on developing a framework for observing resilience behaviours in context. Distributed Cognition and Resilience Engineering are frameworks that interest me greatly.
