Ronald Reagan was born in 1911 in Illinois and was involved in many extracurricular activities in school. He attended Eureka College and had a career as a radio newscaster during the Great Depression before becoming a Hollywood star, appearing in over 50 films and becoming president of the Screen Actors Guild. Reagan switched from the Democratic to the Republican party and was elected governor of California, then president of the United States in 1980 and 1984. He accomplished much but his life and legacy eventually came to an end.
