ABUNO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT HANDBOOK : School Policy The School aims to facilitate the students’ learning not only within the four walls of the classroom but also to serve as training ground in the development of their moral character, personal discipline, civic conscience, and professionally efficiency. In connection, Abuno High School through the Guidance Office in coordination with the Prefect of Discipline and approved by the office of the Principal drafted rules and regulation for the student handbook.
- 4. Opening and Closing of Gate As the policy of the school, the gate will open earlier than 6:00 AM for morning shift. It will re-open for dismissal at 12:10 PM for morning shift and prior the afternoon shift classes. The gate will be closed at 12:20 PM and re-open for dismissal at 6:30 PM. For Grade 7 and 9 Science Classes, their class will start _6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Grade 8 Science Class will start at 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Grade 10 Science Class will start at 8:30AM to 6:30 PM.
- 5. SCHOOL UNIFORM All students who are officially enrolled are ENCOURAGED to wear the school uniform for: • Proper identification • Security and Safety Reasons

- 40. Sanctions for Major Offenses Commission of MAJOR OFFENSE will warrant a conference with the parents. The sanction imposed will depedn on the magnitude of the offense committed provided it will be approved by the School Head. Students who will commit the following major offenses will be advised to change environment once evidence and guilt is established after thorough investigation in the presence if their parents, the Prefect of Discipline, Guidance Advocate, and School head.
- 41. Community service shall be agreed by the parents and be determined by the School Principal/Prefect of Discipline and should be supervised by the teacher-in-charge. Student sanctioned of community service is not allowed to attend classes.
