Teaching experience during pandemic situationSandhyaCsandhya
油
The document summarizes a survey of teachers on their experience with virtual classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey found that most teachers prefer in-person teaching over online teaching and find it challenging to engage students and assess their understanding remotely. However, some teachers felt that online classes were better than no classes during the pandemic. Overall, the analysis concluded that while many teachers were dissatisfied with online learning, it has helped teachers adapt to challenging circumstances.
This document discusses a plug-in called A360 that provides real-time reporting for student information systems to improve teaching effectiveness and student outcomes. A360 provides dashboards and reports that help teachers identify areas for improvement, track student performance, and provide personalized adaptive feedback to students. It also keeps parents informed and measures whether course learning outcomes are being achieved in real-time. The goal is to recognize and address issues early to prevent students from falling behind or experiencing stress through timely intervention.
This capstone project document summarizes Mary Beth Jager's efforts to increase teacher and student usage of the ItsLearning platform at her school. Over the course of 9 months, she provided training sessions and support to help teachers integrate ItsLearning tools like the planner, quizzes, and polls into their instruction. Surveys found that teacher comfort levels and usage increased after the trainings. While usage grew, the document recommends continuing professional development to help students use ItsLearning in more transformational ways.
Common Core State Standards - How Much Do Principals Workmillerjtx
油
With the Common Core State Standards upon us it is as important as ever that school principals maximize all the time available to them to visit classrooms and give their teachers feedback.
Principals average nearly 60 hours per week, but very little of that time is spent in classrooms. What little time is spent in classrooms rarely results in useful feedback. One recent study found that walk throughs without feedback has a negative impact on student achievement.
This new iPad app from Think Strategy, LLC aims to reduce the time principals spend making observations leaving them more time to give useful feedback.
The document discusses allowing students to use online social tools in schools for educational purposes. It argues that schools currently over-block these tools and that teachers should teach students how to use them correctly rather than banning them outright. It recommends that school leaders give teachers access to collaboration tools like Skype and monitor rather than block students' use of online social tools to better engage students and enable information sharing beyond the classroom.
The document contains the results of a survey about social media use at work. Some key findings:
- 93% of respondents use social media in their work roles, with Facebook and LinkedIn being the most commonly used platforms.
- Respondents spend an average of 2-4 hours per week on social media as part of their work.
- The primary audiences engaged through social media are current students, prospective students, and the general public. Facebook is the most used platform to engage these audiences.
- Respondents are interested in learning more about measuring the ROI and success of social media efforts.
The document discusses using technology for classroom assessments. It asks students questions about their familiarity and comfort with technology like the internet, educational apps, smartphones, tablets, and laptops. It also asks if students are confident using technology in class and discusses potential benefits of using technology for assessments, mentioning the apps Socrative and Kahoot which allow teachers to assess students.
The document summarizes the results of a parent survey about a mathematics project. It found that 81% of parents thought the project was fantastic, families believed the project helped children use the internet for educational purposes, and 46% of parents enjoyed the project. Additionally, 87% of parents felt they were affected by the "magic of mathematics" and 78% wanted their children to participate in similar online projects in the future. The survey provides positive feedback about the educational benefits and parental support for the mathematics project.

Blind Spots in AI and Formulation Science Knowledge Pyramid (Updated Perspect...Ajaz Hussain
油
This presentation delves into the systemic blind spots within pharmaceutical science and regulatory systems, emphasizing the significance of "inactive ingredients" and their influence on therapeutic equivalence. These blind spots, indicative of normalized systemic failures, go beyond mere chance occurrences and are ingrained deeply enough to compromise decision-making processes and erode trust.
Historical instances like the 1938 FD&C Act and the Generic Drug Scandals underscore how crisis-triggered reforms often fail to address the fundamental issues, perpetuating inefficiencies and hazards.
The narrative advocates a shift from reactive crisis management to proactive, adaptable systems prioritizing continuous enhancement. Key hurdles involve challenging outdated assumptions regarding bioavailability, inadequately funded research ventures, and the impact of vague language in regulatory frameworks.
The rise of large language models (LLMs) presents promising solutions, albeit with accompanying risks necessitating thorough validation and seamless integration.
Tackling these blind spots demands a holistic approach, embracing adaptive learning and a steadfast commitment to self-improvement. By nurturing curiosity, refining regulatory terminology, and judiciously harnessing new technologies, the pharmaceutical sector can progress towards better public health service delivery and ensure the safety, efficacy, and real-world impact of drug products.
