 Causes of fires and using safe working practices and fire triangle to prevent and extinguish fires.
 Use water, foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemicals, dry powder and fire blankets to extinguish different
classes of fire.
 Use of smoke, flame and heat detectors to prevent fire in the machinery space.
 Using the breathing apparatus (CABA) when working in enclosed spaces or location with poisonous
fumes.
