Steam Turbine of type K30 16 + N30 2 x 3.2 comprising of Two cylinder HP- IP Combined and Double Flow LP Turbine, Reheat-Regenerative type, condensing type, Reaction Steam Turbine (125 MW capacity of each turbine with overload valve capacity increase to 135 MW) BHEL Make. GIPCL has also developed its captive Lignite mines close to the Power Plant. Job Profile: Maintenance: 1. Presently i am working as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and having responsibility of all maintenance related activities of 125 MW Turbine & Its Auxiliaries i.e. BFP, CEP, Condenser, HP & LP Heaters, Vacuum pump, Compressor etc. 2. Developing and implementing plans & schedules for Maintenance Operations and Annual Turn Around with focus on optimum utilization of manpower and material. 3. Managing the functions of troubleshooting and preventive / breakdown maintenance of Rotary Equipments so as to reduce downtime to minimum. 4. Preparation of tender for Annual maintenance contact and technical & commercial evaluation of bid. 5. Preparation & techno-commercial evaluation Service contract for overhauling of Turbine-Generator & its Auxiliaries. 6. Procurement of Spares. 7. I have done Capital Overhauling of 125MW Steam Turbine. 8. I have also done Overhauling of BFP, CEP. Engineering and Review:- 1. I have worked as a Coordinator in 2x300MW Power Project and also have responsibility of Documentation, Engineering and Review of documents related to Turbine & it Auxiliary. 2. Review of document (Engineering Details & Specifications) submitted by various Bidders, Technical discussion related to 2x300MW TG & Aux. 3. I have done Documentation and engineering & review for documents related to turbine & it auxiliary (SLPP 2x125 MW Power project) which include approval of drawings, quality document, datasheets, design calculation. 4. Review & Approval of P& ID, Piping Layout and Detail Engineering drawings related to TG Area. Project Management:- 1. I have worked as a Coordinator in 2x250MW+20% Power Project with a view to complete all tender related activity (from tender notice to Bid opening & finalization of contract) smoothly and with in time.
- 3. 2. I have done Erection & Commissioning of 125MW Steam Turbine & its Auxiliary & piping of complete system. 3. Managing project operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishment of targets. 4. I have done planning for day to day activity of site work for SLPP 2x125 MW expansion project. 5. Material and Manpower Management & planning for fast and smoothly completion of work. 6. Follow-up for timely supply of material from BHEL- HYD to avoid any delay in site work due to non availability of material. Purchase & Spare management:- 1. Completed the process of procurement of project spares of 2 x 125 MW Expansion Project at GIPCL-SLPP (vendor selection, Enquiry, technical comparison, negotiation, purchase order etc.). 2. Review & approval of BBU & Bill Processing. 3. Assessing annual requirement of spares. 4. Interfacing with the Purchase Dept for on time procurement of technically approved indented material. 5. Governing the inventory function of spares involving planning for storage and use of material so as to improve storage conditions and reduce expenses & wastage to minimum. 6. Developing Vendors for indigenization of imported Spares. Extra Curricular and other Achievements: Professional:- 1.
