 Company Profile: Asian concrete and cement private limited (ISO certified) is a joint venture company with
equity participation from Acc limited. The company has now two cement grinding plants with aggregate
capacity of 1.3MTPA. The first plant set up in 2006 and the second one in 2010. Plant located very near to
border of Punjab and Haryana.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Maintenance:
 Responsible for ensuring good condition of plant equipments. To take plant round daily and check
equipment status.
 Execution of preventive maintenance work as per the schedule.
 Immediate attendance to breakdown to prevent production loss.
 Actively take part in Route Cause Analysis to eliminate repeat equipment failures, safety or
environmental issues.
 Documentation:
 Update the accomplished Work Request/Work Order using the Maintenance ERP software package .
 Prepare preventive maintenance records, maintain/update equipment list in ERP software.
 Prepare monthly reports for senior managers.
 Maintain documents in accordance with ISO (9001, 18001, 14001).
 Utilities:
 Responsible for operation and maintenance of utilities.
 To maintain logs for different utilities like various compressors, sewage treatment plant, DG. Set. Etc.
 Optimize all utilities and full consumption.
 To maintain daily consumption records of electricity, water, diesel.
 Stores:
 To prepare proper stock of engineering spares and fuels.
 To raise purchase requisition for spares and fuels.
 Highlight critical stock conditions and follow-up for material requirements.
 Safety:
 Member of safety committee of the plant and participate in the meetings once in every months.
 Ensuring the permit to work system and(Hot Work, Confined Space, Work at Height, lifting, slinging and
etc) are strictly adhered to, LOTO procedures for safe working conditions.
 To ensure all risk assessments and ensure use of personal protective equipments by workers.
 Preparation of SOP of each particular job before execution.
 Preparation of JSA/HIRA of each activity before execution.

 Infrastructure & Statutory:
 Installation of new equipments.
 To repair structures, equipments, buildings and furnishings.
 Annual tool & tackles inspection.
 Annual pressure vessels inspection.
OPERATIONAL PREVIEW:
 Maintenance of various rotating and stationary equipments, compressors, STP, DG Set.
 Hands on experience in maintenance (Dismantling, measurement, Repair/Replacement of internal parts)
of Gear Box, Girth gear, Couplings, Water Pumps, Fans and Blowers, Air slides.
 Maintenance of bag filters, bearings, couplings, chute modifications,
 Maintenance of lubrication systems, Fly ash unloading systems, Truck tipplers, packing plant equipments
like roto packer, truck loading machine etc.
 Having knowledge of operation and maintenance of Belt conveyors, Bucket elevators, hydraulic and
pneumatic systems.
PROJECTS DETAIL:
 Installation of winch machine on Cement Mill for door opening – It has reduces the cost of hydra hiring
charges for same.
 New DFA Silo Construction of Capacity 790 tons – It has enhances the capacity of DFA storage.
 Minimization of Fugitive Dust Emissions in plant.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
 Successfully executed Reduction in fugitive emission levels in within one year time frame.
 Maintain high equipment reliability by proper preventive maintenance.
 Reduction in maintenance cost.
 Reduction in number of Breakdowns.
 Played key role in implementing (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001) in the department & coordinating for all the
matters related to this.
 Attended one day training about bearings on behalf of Asian Cement which was organized by M/s SKF at
Baddi (HP).
