The Michigan State Board of Education held a meeting to discuss the state's school funding structure. Three speakers presented different perspectives on Proposal A, which determines how schools are funded. Mike Addonizio from Wayne State discussed how Proposal A has worked. Tom White from Save Our Students, Schools, and State provided handouts. Lynn Jondahl from Michigan Prospect for Renewed Citizenship presented on a better future for Michigan. The Board also announced future meeting dates in March through June 2010.
