- 20. 20 My challenge to accelerate usage of LibreOffice 私の今後の挑戦 : エチオピアの LibreOffice 利用促進 ● To scale up LibreOffice awareness – Let local people use it easily ● To create awareness among private companies – Those don’t show interest to use open source solutions and tend to use pirated software instead. ● To support, help and involve in FOSS contributions ● LibreOffice の認知度を高める – エチオピアの人々が簡単に使用で きるようにする ● 民間企業の認知度を高める – これらの企業はオープンソースソ リューションの利用に興味を示さ ず、代わりに海賊版ソフトウェアを 使用する傾向があります ● FOSS への貢献を支援し、巻き込む
- 21. 21 FOSS / LibreOffice can benefit FOSS/LibreOffice はメリットがあります ● Local government offices ● Private/business companies ● Educational institutions (Schools) ● 地方公共団体 ● 民間企業 ● 教育機関（学校）
- 22. 22 Conclusion(1) / 結論 ● Even if there is FOSSFA in Africa, the region is still less contributor to FOSS community. ● アフリカに FOSSFA があっても、 FOSS コミュニティへの貢献度は依然として 低いです ● LibreOffice is not going well in Africa region unlike Europe, South East Asia, North America and South America ● LibreOffice は、ヨーロッパ、東南アジア、北米、南米と異なり、アフリカ地域で はうまくいっていない
- 23. 23 Conclusion(2) / 結論 ● Individual volunteers are translating LibreOffice in different local languages in Ethiopia (no LibreOffice community). ● 個々のボランティアは、 LibreOffice をエチオピアの異なる言語で翻訳しています （ LibreOffice コミュニティはありません） ● Individuals from different languages of Ethiopia make LibreOffice community working together and to connect with Africa's FOSS community to share knowledge and build LibreOffice community of each country ● エチオピアの異なる言語の人々が一緒に活動する LibreOffice コミュニティを作る ● アフリカの FOSS コミュニティを繋いで、ナレッジをシェアして各国のコミュニティの発 展をめざしたい
