This document discusses UN Millennial Development Goal #4 of reducing child mortality. The author expresses that this goal resonates with her because of her experience working with infants and toddlers. She believes that by educating others on safe parenting practices with a kind attitude, many babies' lives could be saved. The author suggests that this goal can be applied locally by advocating for infant safety and educating parents without judgment. The biggest contribution individuals can make is to be conscious of safe practices and share them with others without shaming. Social media can help by sharing knowledge through community groups to educate parents who may not know the safest ways to care for their babies.

Potential solutions proposed include opening more women's health centers, providing education, and mandating paid maternity leave to support mothers without strain. Alana suggests educating loved ones about resources and using social media like Instagram Reels and Twitter Spaces to spread awareness.

The webinar promotes establishing clear policies, intervening early, inviting help seeking, and following up to effectively respond to mental health needs and support seeking help.
Universal primary education should be a right for all children. The author believes education provides important life skills and career opportunities, yet some children lack access simply due to where they live or not having transportation. This issue could be addressed by extending bus routes to reach more neighborhoods, as well as after-school programs at local YMCAs where volunteers help with homework and mentoring. Social media platforms like Facebook could also help by allowing students to form study groups.
