Vietnam is located in Southeast Asia. It has a population of over 94 million people and its official name is the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. It has a communist government and its capital and largest city is Hanoi. The dominant ethnic group is the Kinh people and the official language is Vietnamese. The economy has experienced rapid growth in recent decades with major exports including electronics, footwear, and clothing. Top foreign investors include South Korea, Japan, and Singapore. Popular tourist destinations include Hoi An, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Long Bay, and Da Nang.
