 Maintain the mud parameters according to the drilling program.
 Update well information and reporting to the client.
 Estimates mud materials and chemicals required for drilling each phase
includes estimating the tonnage per materials, per well and recommends
estimates for ordering stores.
 Ensures that adequate stock of mud chemicals is available on the Rig.
 Signs the loading notes for the mud chemicals received from the stores after
checking the quality and quantity of these materials.
 Update the daily Mud Report based on the mud chemicals received /used,
daily.
 Complete the Mud Cost Report and the Mud Materials used and transferred.
 Ensures that loading / off loading, stocking/ re-stocking mud chemicals at the
well site is done properly and carefully.
 Assist in ensuring that mud spills are prevented and that all means are
implemented to ensure zero mud discharge to the environment.
 Follow up the mud characteristics during the operations.
 Check and evaluate solid control equipment on rig site.
 Reporting to the drilling supervisor with the mud parameters.
 Supervising and advising drilling crew for daily drilling operations.
 Make sure that chemical yard is kept in good condition.

 Successful trial to decrease and eliminate the anticipated high torque while
drilling through horizontal section (pay zone) in Saudia Arabia-Qatif Field
with Aramco using Torqtrim II
 Successful trial to decrease and eliminate anticipated high torque while
drilling through 12 ¼” build up section and 6” horizontal section ( pay zone )
in Oman-Safah field with Oxy using Radaigreen

 Successful trial to cure the anticipated losses and perform a good cement job
while drilling 12 ¼” hole in Oman-Safah field with Oxy using Hydr-Plug in
Oman-Safah field with Oxy
 Successful trial to drill the 8 ½” build up section included Shale formation
using HP-WBM instead of using SBM-mud in Oman-Safah field with Oxy
 Successful trial to decrease and eliminate the bit balling anticipated while
drilling sticky surface hole section in Oman-Safah field with Oxy using liquid
PHPA ( EZ-mud )
 Successful trial to use a high concentrated pill of Stickless-20 spotted on
bottom prior POOH , helped in running 7” liner without problem through 8 ½”
