 My name is Joe, I have 35 yrs experience in Retail operations. From clerk, dept mgr to Store Mgr
and most recently Regional Manager. Before the Pandemic, I was let go from my last employer
due to reduction in force. I have a proven track record for operational excellence as well as team
member development and leadership. My passion is teaching and training. I feel with my
experience, I can more than help a company develop its employees to be empowered as well as
develop new leaders. I love visiting stores within a company and collaborating with ALL
employees. An employee that feels a sense of worth is an employee that will help the overall
company team. I understand in these times that hiring and overall business operations will be
different. And a company that hires me will be teaching me, more than likely, something new,
which is awesome!!!

 Benzer Pharmacy - Tampa, Fl June 2018 to February 2020 Regional Manager
 Oversaw 80 corporate and 40 franchise stores across the United States
 Worked in unison with 9 other regional managers and franchise VP to set sales and performance goals for the
locations.
 Mentored and trained staff to define and exceed field sales objectives.
 Oversaw the contract and lease negotiations, buildout, transfer of merchandise and relocation of a Benzer Pharmacy
in Tamarac, Fl.
 Developed and executed Power Point presentations for CBD, Front end and Diabetic sales to help achieve company
retail sales goals.
 Introduced CBD products to 8 stores in Septemebr 2018. By September 2019 there was 40 stores selling. That
resulted in company total monthly sales that increased by 433% from $1,500 to $6,500 in CBD sales.

 Built and maintained trust and working relationships with multiple vendors that were providing products and services
to Benzer Pharmacy.
 Worked with Nova Southeastern University School of Pharmacy for participation in NSU's Future's Summit-Event
to give Pharmacy students opportunities to meet with the Medical field and Pharmacy retailers for
future job oppertunities.
 Assisted in opening Benzer General Stores (150 Sq Ft) in 2 Independent Living Resorts in Naples and Bradenton,
Fl. With my guidance, sales increased on average from $400 per month to $900 per month.
 Helped secure a contract with maintenance company, ABM, to help take care of our Benzer stores and to save on
expenses.
 Attended the NACDS Total Store Expo twice---To meet with possible new venors for products and services they can
provide Benzer Pharmacy. And to create and continue on some great relationships.
 Worked closely with franchise owners to facilitate info for the company and to teach, train and offer guidance for
running their stores.

Day at local Grade Schools, assisting in administering Flu shots to local businesses yearly
and participating in Charity events and raising charitable funds in the store.
 By focusing on training and engaging my team I was able to lead them in reducing front
end shrink from 5.1% in 2014 to 1.9% in 2017.
 Because my store was one of the leading stores in the region based on several key
performance areas, I was recognized as a potential corporate leader and was selected for
phase 1 of new leadership movement | Frontier | 2016.
 Exceeded Pharmacy script totals +7.4% | Total payroll -1.17% | Customer service
score +4.5% and Total store sales goals +14.1% for 2017-In conjunction with team
engaging in Frontier.
