Key Messages Should be short & to the point Tell what you do Be memorable (catchy) Show how you’re unique
What do you want the  world to know about you? Who are you? What is unique about you? What are you passionate about? What is something that few people know about you? If you were gone tomorrow, what is the one thing people would miss about you? What three words would you use to describe yourself? What three words would others to use to describe you How do you want others to perceive you?
Write 5 Key Messages about Yourself
Write 3 key messages about your charitable organization
Key Message Points - Bridging Transitional phrases that help you stay on message Examples: “Did you know that …. “ “ What you mustn't lose sight of is ….” Source: Full Frontal PR
Flagging your messages Ideas you want the audience to take away Indicate what should be remembered A verbal exclamation point! Examples: “What’s most important is …” “ We’ve sold a zillion widgets because …” Closing the interview “ I’d like to reiterate …”  “ Finally the most important thing people need to know is …”

  • 4. What do you want the world to know about you? Who are you? What is unique about you? What are you passionate about? What is something that few people know about you? If you were gone tomorrow, what is the one thing people would miss about you? What three words would you use to describe yourself? What three words would others to use to describe you How do you want others to perceive you?
