- 2. I think what was successful about my preliminary task is that there was more planning and time management. We had good time management because we created a planning sheet with all the times and dates of what needed to be done on what day so we were on top of things and wouldnt behind rushing at the last minute. Although the piece of task given was short and could decide who we could work with worked best. This is because we knew each others strengths and weaknesses, so it would be easier to compromise and see who could do different roles in the group. It was successful because the brief had clearly explained on what to do in our task so that made it easier. As opposed to the main task we had to think of a synopsis ourselves and create everything from scratch.
- 3. Using the new digital technology made it less successful at the beginning of the course. This is because we werent very familiar with the equipment and software's, so it made it hard for us to perfect it first time round. Furthermore we werent really used on the different ways to shoot the specific scenes with the camera without breaking the 180 degree rule. So, once we had gone back and started editing we had realised that we did not use certain camera angles and shots to get a higher marking. So we went back and filmed the bits and pieces we needed. By doing this, we had to ensure that everything in the mis-en-scene was exactly the same as all the other the other shots to create versimilitude.
- 4. In our main task I improved on all the things that were less successful in my preliminary task, so I was aware of the mistakes that I shouldnt have made again. I was also more used to the equipment and software's that were needed to edit and finalise our videos. I think all in all, I have improved a lot over the past couple of months. With the help from my peers and teachers giving the best advice and encouragement they could have for me to succeed and shine through my work.
