MTFT Fast Facts Founded in 2004 by Eva C. Johnson and community leaders to address the need for character building in todays youth Established as a non-profit educational public benefit organization Funded by grants, sponsorships, fundraising events and public/private donations Program designed for at-risk, disadvantaged, and low income youth ages 9-18 Staffed by community volunteers
MTFT Fast Facts Mission is to improve the ethical behavior of youth by developing strong families, strong educational ties, and strong peer-to-peer interactions Program increases positive social face to-face interaction and academic performance Program and staff model ethical standards of behavior
MTFT Fast Facts Assist high school students with their transition from school to work or college Partnered with the Murrieta Valley Unified School District in 2006 Completed the mentoring session for 2007 at Warm Springs Middle School Announced partnership with Oak Grove Center for Education & the Arts Mentored youth at油Murrieta Valley,油and Shivela Middle School campuses
MTFT Purpose To address the pressures youth encounter today due to lack of a firm foundation, guidance and structure.  To instill positive, life-changing experiences through mentoring and be a positive, proactive invention tool for youth and their families.  To serve at-risk, disadvantaged, and underserved youth ages 9-18.  Since the summer of 2005, our organization has served over 400 youth and we continue to grow annually.
Mission To improve the ethical behavior of youth within a structured learning environment that promotes and builds excellence. We envision a community of ethical, empowered and well-educated youth.
Role MTFT makes the community a better place to live by increasing self-esteem and self-worth in our youth, and by creating future community, civic, and business leaders.
2008 Highlights
April 50 Community Youths Served Sports Represented: baseball, football, basketball Each professional player gave his bio and history with sports Youths received batting practice, speed and agility training, and physical fitness instruction
Youth Sports Camp 2008
July  Keynote Speaker: Leonard Robinson, Chief Deputy Director, Dept of Toxic Substances Control Educated community residents about water-saving measures and technology to conserve Californias most important natural resource ~100 participants enjoyed free food, giveaways and drawings, informational packets for adults, and jumpers, snow cones, and games for children

November ~60 student models in 3 categories: elementary, middle, and high school 1 trophy/prize winner in each category All student models received gift certificates and kept outfits modeled Partnered with Oak Grove Center for Education & the Arts Special costumes provided by well-known dressmaker Tifeni Whittington

Johnson and community leaders to address the need for character building in todays youth Established as a non-profit educational public benefit organization Funded by grants, sponsorships, fundraising events and public/private donations Program designed for at-risk, disadvantaged, and low income youth ages 9-18 Staffed by community volunteers

MTFT Fast Facts Mission is to improve the ethical behavior of youth by developing strong families, strong educational ties, and strong peer-to-peer interactions Program increases positive social face to-face interaction and academic performance Program and staff model ethical standards of behavior

MTFT Fast Facts Assist high school students with their transition from school to work or college Partnered with the Murrieta Valley Unified School District in 2006 Completed the mentoring session for 2007 at Warm Springs Middle School Announced partnership with Oak Grove Center for Education & the Arts Mentored youth at油Murrieta Valley,油and Shivela Middle School campuses
  • 7. MTFT Purpose To address the pressures youth encounter today due to lack of a firm foundation, guidance and structure. To instill positive, life-changing experiences through mentoring and be a positive, proactive invention tool for youth and their families. To serve at-risk, disadvantaged, and underserved youth ages 9-18. Since the summer of 2005, our organization has served over 400 youth and we continue to grow annually.
  • 8. Mission To improve the ethical behavior of youth within a structured learning environment that promotes and builds excellence. We envision a community of ethical, empowered and well-educated youth.
  • 9. Role MTFT makes the community a better place to live by increasing self-esteem and self-worth in our youth, and by creating future community, civic, and business leaders.
  • 11. April 50 Community Youths Served Sports Represented: baseball, football, basketball Each professional player gave his bio and history with sports Youths received batting practice, speed and agility training, and physical fitness instruction
  • 13. July Keynote Speaker: Leonard Robinson, Chief Deputy Director, Dept of Toxic Substances Control Educated community residents about water-saving measures and technology to conserve Californias most important natural resource ~100 participants enjoyed free food, giveaways and drawings, informational packets for adults, and jumpers, snow cones, and games for children

November ~60 student models in 3 categories: elementary, middle, and high school 1 trophy/prize winner in each category All student models received gift certificates and kept outfits modeled Partnered with Oak Grove Center for Education & the Arts Special costumes provided by well-known dressmaker Tifeni Whittington
