Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907 in Chak No. 105, Banga village, Jaranwala Tehsil, Lyalpur district, now in Pakistan. He came from a Sikh family and received his primary education locally before attending National College in Lahore. As a young man, Singh was deeply influenced by incidents of British oppression in India and participated in Gandhi's non-cooperation movement. He grew disillusioned with non-violence and began advocating for armed revolution. In 1928, Singh fatally shot a police officer and was arrested. In this procession, they carry the Sikh flag which is known as 'Nishan Sahib' with the palki of Guru Granth Sahib. Team of people perform some martial arts known as 'Gatka'. The festival ends with a free sweets and community lunch known as 'Langar'.

Diwali is a 'festival of Lights' which is celebrated on the Shukla Paksha of Kartika Month. This festival involves lighting of candles, diyas. It is a believer of people that Goddess Lakhsmi enters to their house on this day. So, the people perform many traditional activities to worship Goddess Lakshmi.
This festival brings brightness to our lives buy lighting up various colourful candles, diyas and bursting of crackers. Taking some precautions while celebrating Diwali could bring more charm to this festival. As there are number of burn cases arise during this festival, so one should follow some precaution while celebrating Diwali.
One should always burst the crackers in an open area. Before bursting crackers you must ensure there are no inflammatory things nearby. Parents should take care of the small children. They should be out of the place of bursting crackers. You must purchase crackers from licensed and reliable sellers.
You must keep Bucket full of water for an emergency. You should keep in mind that not to leave any matchstick, lighter, candle near unused crackers. You should not wear nylon clothes because they catches fire quickly and never give any cracker to small children as it can result a big harm.
