Qualifications and Skills
 Over One (1) years of experience in food quality assurance
 Proven ability to sample, isolate, enumerate and identify microorganisms from water,beverage and food
samples
 Knowledgeable of the design of statistical quality controls, graph interpretations and shelf life analysis
 Knowledgeable of SQF, FDA, CFIA, HACCP standards and health Canada regulation
 Experience in cGMP, GLP, WHMIS and performing of other laboratory analysis
 Capable of performing CIP on food manufacturing equipment following SSOP to maintain the quality
of food products
 Knowledgeable and capable of performing various molecular biology techniques including SDS-PAGE,
mass spectrometry, DNA isolation, ELISA, western blot, restriction enzyme digestion and protein
purification
 Self-motivated, detailed oriented, a team player with the ability to work independently as needed
 Knowledgeable of the use of several laboratory instruments including HPLC, NMR, AAS, GC, PCR,
Spectrophotometer, Microscope, autoclave, incubator, pH & turbidity meter and centrifuge
 Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement, preventive maintenance and safety practices
 Excellent communication (verbally and written), documentation and report writing skills
 Able to work in all type of shift system and stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment
 Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet browsers
Working Experience
Quality Control Technician, Delta Beverages, Woodbridge, ON December,2015  Present
 Conduct regular line checks to ensure that production adhere to quality specifications
 Implemented hold procedure for suspect product followed by product evaluation and testing
 Work with mixing room employees to ensure adherence to formulations
 Test product samples at various stages of processing to ensure quality
 Perform analysis on product samples and record in LIMS
 Complete all testing and analysis documentation
 Inform Supervisor of all packaging and product deficiencies
 Ensure that all products/raw materials that do not meet quality specifications are not shipped or used
 Ensure the cleanliness of the quality laboratory at all times
 Adept in performing tests to check alcohol percentage,density, specific gravity, de-alcolyzed brix,
distillation, preservative concentration, colour intensity, turbidity, Acidity and CO2 level prior to product
release
 Ensure all tasks and duties are performed with regard to personal health and safety, as well as the health
and safety of all employees and visitors
 Responsible for water testing of RO water and city water for hardness, chlorine, turbidity, TDS and
alkalinity
