Dear Sir or Madam:
This letter/resume is to give a little more background on what field of employment I have been in
since graduating high school in 1989. I have held all secretarial, business administrative and
customer call center positions. They have included customer care rep at ADELPHIA CABLE
for almost three years, my duties there included answering billing inquiries, taking payments,
and setting up maps for the contractors to install powerlink also known as cable modem internet
service. I was in the top three in the sales department as well. Received several employee of the
month nominations and sales awards as well.
I have also worked at NIELSON MEDIA RESEARCH in Dunedin Florida where I was a
phone interviewer to get families to participate in the Nielson Media Rating System. Heavy
phone volume was a part of everyday responsibilities.
I have worked for the Department of Economic Development in the Tourism Division as a call
center representative as well where I handled several phone lines, dealing in inquiries about the
state tourism and handled making databases to send out the CT Vacation Guide as well. I
worked at a company that was contracted by the state to do such work.
I worked through Staffing Consultants at several business locations as well including the
NORWICH BULLETIN as a Customer Sales Rep, S&S WORLDWIDE in Colchester as a
phone representative as well. I worked at SHEFFIELD LABORATORIES where I started as
the receptionist and worked up to Administrative Assistant where several underlying situations
where I sadly turned in my notice.
I worked for BOB’S DISCOUNT FURNITURE for nearly 5 years. My duties there included,
but not limited to, customer service, GPS department where I was made a supervisor. My duties
included monitoring 190 delivery teams, communicating with depot supervisors, heavy customer
service skills. I started there at 9.88 an hour and leaving pay was 16.62.
I am currently employed at CVS CORPORATE in Woonsocket RI. I am a certified pharmacy
technician and work in their call center. I handle refills, doctor’s requests, and several other
customer service functions, again operating on a very high call volume.
I am looking for a position that is more challenging. I have impeccable job references and right
now I am looking for a new career. I am a hard worker and an outstanding team leader once I
am taught what is expected of me. I feel I can be a great asset to your company, providing you
