Developed, designed and implemented all policies and procedures for the homeless outreach treatment
team(HOTT).Identified and assessed referrals (Triage of acuity, current symptomolgy,past psychiatric
and medical history,etc) in order to determined eligibility according to the DMHAS guidelines. Functioned
as a crisis intervention team in the community at large.
Determine priorities’ in order to plan, coordinate and supervise team activities, and provided
administrative support to team staff, and evaluate and monitored professional practices.
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Franklin S Dubois (DMHAS) Stamford, CT
February 1988-March 1996
Identified and assess appropriate department of mental health client population for admission to the
Franklin S. Dubois Work service unit. Assess client needs and implemented vocational skills training,
career development and individual counseling. Functioned as a job placement specialist within the
community at large. Negotiating and educating area business in contracting employment to mentally
challenged individuals.
Actively involved in clinical supervision and training to better understand clinical issues that arise from
time to time. Provided personalized home visits, monitored prescribed medication regime as per doctors’
orders and consulted with the treating Psychiatrist for the purpose of updated information on psychotropic
medications and its impact on treatment.
