This document provides an overview of a cultural mapping project conducted in L'viv, Ukraine. The goal was to engage the community in defining the current state of culture, identifying issues, and creating a framework for future cultural policy. Over 2000 cultural organizations and initiatives were identified. Challenges included resistance to change and lack of accessibility of cultural opportunities and information. Key issues centered around relationships, community development, cultural expression, and awareness. Recommendations included continuing cultural planning, improving cooperation and information access, developing capacity, and creating a more inclusive cultural environment. The process brought together stakeholders to understand the current cultural landscape and envision future improvements.
