State/National scholarships -Area of study, ethnicity, prospective colleges Unique Scholarships - Specific characteristics and circumstances
- 13. Scholarships Examples Tall Clubs International (TCI) Scholarship Tall Clubs International (TCI) offers a $1,000 scholarship for tall people. Women who are at least 5'10" and men who are at least 6'2" are eligible for the award. David Letterman Telecommunications Scholarship The David Letterman Scholarship was established to provide scholarships for telecommunications students at Ball State University. Als Formal Wear - Salute to Education Scholarship To be eligible to win, participants must be at least 17 years of age and must be currently attending an accredited high school in Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, or Wyoming. City of Houston Employees Children's Scholarship The City of Houston has established a scholarship program to assist employees' children who plan to attend college.
