Here are slides from a presentation at an event organized by Association ADELE and officials in the field of participatory democracy on September 26th in Paris, France. The theme of the talk was "When ordinary citizens rewrite their constitution".
Presentation given by Gudjon Mar Gudjonsson director at Agora and facilitator at the grassroots organized Ministry of Ideas. Political context in Iceland was discussed and the process around the Constitutional Council of 25 ordinary citizens.
Additional reaction and comments where given by Bastien Fran巽ois who teaches political science at the University of Paris-I. Bastien Fran巽ois wrote a famous book for a new constitution: "The Constitution of the Sixth French Republic". Additional reaction given by Philippe Aigrain, founder and CEO of Sopinspace, Society for Public Information Spaces, a company that develops free software and provides services for the public debate of policy issues. Additional input and discussions where given by many of the participants during the session.
Overall this was a great session and the atmosphere at the end gave many of the participants an inspiration that this could be a start of a movement of a new constitutional reform of France.

This document summarizes a League Pass streaming service offered by OZ that would allow fans access to live and on-demand streaming of games through monthly subscriptions or day passes. It would benefit fans by providing single access to simultaneously streamed games and an on-demand content catalog. Teams would benefit from a focused marketing effort and being rewarded revenue shares based on viewing. OZ would handle responsibilities like customer care, payment processing, and providing technical assistance to teams.
The document discusses techniques for improving productivity including chunking large tasks into smaller pieces, using a time-planning system to schedule work during power times and avoid procrastination, and doing weekly reviews to reprioritize and process items. It emphasizes using an inbox system like Asana to capture, evaluate, delegate, or file non-actionable items and defines next actions. The goal is to move from a personal productivity system to a shared one for increased collaboration and network effects.
This document outlines productivity hacks and tools used at Oz including Asana and GitHub issues for tracking tasks from high-level objectives down to engineering issues. It recommends habits like chunking large tasks into smaller milestones and micro-milestones, taking credit for all completions, using a time plan to avoid procrastination, and doing weekly reviews to sort and prioritize tasks.

This document discusses the lean startup methodology and pivoting. It provides an example of a company that started with a lean canvas focusing on one problem/solution, but then pivoted twice based on learning - first zooming in to focus more narrowly, then zooming out to broaden the solution. The key message is that regular measurement and testing of assumptions allows for learning that can inform pivots to refine the business model over time.

Blind Spots in AI and Formulation Science Knowledge Pyramid (Updated Perspect...Ajaz Hussain
油
This presentation delves into the systemic blind spots within pharmaceutical science and regulatory systems, emphasizing the significance of "inactive ingredients" and their influence on therapeutic equivalence. These blind spots, indicative of normalized systemic failures, go beyond mere chance occurrences and are ingrained deeply enough to compromise decision-making processes and erode trust.
Historical instances like the 1938 FD&C Act and the Generic Drug Scandals underscore how crisis-triggered reforms often fail to address the fundamental issues, perpetuating inefficiencies and hazards.
The narrative advocates a shift from reactive crisis management to proactive, adaptable systems prioritizing continuous enhancement. Key hurdles involve challenging outdated assumptions regarding bioavailability, inadequately funded research ventures, and the impact of vague language in regulatory frameworks.
The rise of large language models (LLMs) presents promising solutions, albeit with accompanying risks necessitating thorough validation and seamless integration.
Tackling these blind spots demands a holistic approach, embracing adaptive learning and a steadfast commitment to self-improvement. By nurturing curiosity, refining regulatory terminology, and judiciously harnessing new technologies, the pharmaceutical sector can progress towards better public health service delivery and ensure the safety, efficacy, and real-world impact of drug products.
APM event hosted by the South Wales and West of England Network (SWWE Network)
Speaker: Aalok Sonawala
The SWWE Regional Network were very pleased to welcome Aalok Sonawala, Head of PMO, National Programmes, Rider Levett Bucknall on 26 February, to BAWA for our first face to face event of 2025. Aalok is a member of APMs Thames Valley Regional Network and also speaks to members of APMs PMO Interest Network, which aims to facilitate collaboration and learning, offer unbiased advice and guidance.
Tonight, Aalok planned to discuss the importance of a PMO within project-based organisations, the different types of PMO and their key elements, PMO governance and centres of excellence.
PMOs within an organisation can be centralised, hub and spoke with a central PMO with satellite PMOs globally, or embedded within projects. The appropriate structure will be determined by the specific business needs of the organisation. The PMO sits above PM delivery and the supply chain delivery teams.
