2. Personal StatementI am near the completion of my bachelors degree in psychology. Nevertheless, my educational journey continues. My bachelors degree can offer entry level positions in the direction of a career in education. Over the course of my education my professional choices have changed. However, the one constant is my love of education. Mark Twain once said Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest (Twain, n.d.). The right thing for me to do is help others with their educational success.I have maintained a 3.5 and higher grade point average since I began my educational journey. I have an associates degree in psychology. In December I will receive my bachelors degree in forensic psychology. I am a proud member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I am a new member of the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. My career choice is to teach. My goal is to become a college professor. The reason for my choice lies within my variety of interest. I am interested in ethics, diversity, and behavior. The one place I can apply my interest is through teaching others. Regardless of my employment history, I have always been in the position of assisting others with learning and guidance. When I learn something, I continue to educate myself until I can educate others. I never stop learning. I am extremely organized and hard working. I believe in strong work ethics, policies, rules and regulations. My desire to succeed is expressed through my positive attitude. I do not allow obstacles to falter my determination. I am stubborn when right, yet open to new ideas. I have a unique way of thinking. I view the behavior of others as a product of a whole. I get along well with most people of any culture, ethnicity, or background. However, I am extremely independent and produce my best work unsupervised.
3. ResumeI am currently on the inception of my career with an expected degree in Psychology. In December I will receive my Bachelors degree and I am excited to be involved with an employer who can be a part of a new beginning into my professional career. I have been researching companies of interest that I feel would be a good fit for my professional interests. After learning about the Pre-Kindergarten teaching position for your learning center I knew this would be a great opportunity. I am very interested in joining your organization as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. 油I realize you will need to know a bit more about me in order to consider me as suitable candidate; for this reason, I have enclosed my r辿sum辿 for your review as the first step in the application process. Although there is a slight gap in my work history, this is in no way an indication of my dedication to my career. I wanted to focus my attention on my degree so that I may become a valuable asset to my future employer. 油My resume below is based on my past experience and does not adequately express my future career choice as a teacher. I volunteered at Richmond Hill Primary school and George Washing carver Elementary school for over five years. I volunteered during the early morning and worked my management position afterward. I also homeschooled my two children for two years, while in the process of relocating to the Post Falls area. When my children enrolled into the school system, both were in advance studies. If you give me the opportunity to prove my abilities, I will apply for all required certifications and background checks. Please do not let my past business experience be the bases for your decision. Allow my dedication, my previously mentioned experience, and my desire to work with children guide you to the right decision. I know I can become a valuable asset to your learning center. 油I have organizational skills beyond the normal. I have the desire to learn and excel in all aspect of any position I am given. No position is considered too small. I am requesting a chance to prove my abilities. This is a win-win opportunity: I gain additional skills and knowledge. You gain a qualified employee with unsurpassed dedication. 油Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I hope to speak with you soon.油油
4. ReflectionMy academic tenure at Argosy University has been an exciting journey. I have gained a great deal of knowledge on the vast world of psychology. Over the years, each class has taught me a different way to view the world.
