worked at various companies washing up, cleaning and preparing food.

My position within the company was first Director and then Registered
Manager. After setting up the business I then built up the client base I
worked well with the Primary Care trust and local hospices to care for
terminally ill clients who wished to stay at home. We also cared for a number
of elderly people providing personal care shopping trips and companionship.
I was responsible for completing a health and home assessment then to
arrange a care package to suit the individuals needs ensuring that the carer
met the clients approval. I was also responsible for Interviewing and
recruiting new carers organise their induction training complete their CRB
checks. Complete rotas invoicing and payroll; liaise with PCT, Families and
other health care professionals regarding the clients and their well being.
Carers at Home Manager Jan 08  June 09
I worked as a branch manager. My main duties were to complete the rotas on
a weekly basis using Tagtronics, meet with new clients and carry out a health
and home assessment. Supervise the carers and organise shadow shifts.
Interview and recruit new carers organise their induction training to complete
their CRB checks. To take the on-call on a regular basis. Chair staff meetings,
carry out appraisals and liaise with Social services regarding the clients and
their wellbeing.
