Caryn set a goal to lose 10 pounds with support from her parents who also wanted to lose weight. She planned to measure her progress by weekly weigh-ins and fitting into old jeans. Her plan was to cut out junk food, add more vegetables, and do daily crunches and treadmill walks. While sick twice and unable to exercise as planned, she still lost 8 pounds through better eating. Though she has yet to reach her goal, she is motivated to lose a few more pounds and stay fit.
