U menad転erskoj teoriji je velika paznja posveena podsticanju zaposlenih na bolje
rezultate, jer jedino sa izgradnjom kvalitetnog motivacijskog sastava se mo転e pomoi
organizaciji da povea svoju konkurentsku sposobnost i vrednost.
Veliki interes za motivaciju u osnovi ima tri razloga: pobolj邸anje proizvodnosti,
efikasnosti i kreativnosti rada; pobolj邸anje kvaliteta radnog 転ivota u organizacijama;
jaanje konkurentske sposobnosti i uspe邸nosti preduzeca.
Motivacija je uopsteni pojam koji se odnosi na celi skup zahteva, potreba, 転elja i slinih
sila. Pojam motivacije dolazi od latinske rei motus 邸to znai kretnja. Iz toga mo転emo
zakljuiti da se radi o poticajnom razlogu, povodu, pobudi za neko delovanje.
Motivacija je ono 邸to podstice ljude da se u odreenoj situaciji pona邸aju na odreeni
nain. Motivacija u preduzeu podrazumeva faktore koji podstiu ljude da rade svoj
posao na najbolji mogui nain.
Motivisanje zaposlenih je jedan od klunih zadataka i funkcija menadzera. Osnovno je da
se motivacija mora zasnivati na onome 邸to se 転eli postii, znai treba nagraivati ono
ega 転elimo da bude vi邸e, odnosno podsticati one oblike pona邸anja koji vode ostvarivanju
ciljeva organizacije.
Uzrok odreenog pona邸anja oveka jesu unutrasnji psiholo邸ki pokretai koji ga teraju na
neku aktivnost, pa uinak nekog pojedinca ne zavisi samo u njegovoj sposobnosti ve i o
motivaciji. Zadatak (obaveza) menad転era je da shvate ljudsku slo転enost motivacijske
teorije ,pa da u zavisnosti od specifinih okolnosti u kojima preduzee posluje, izaberu i
primenjuju materijalne i nematerijalne motivacijske tehnike.
