our stores that sold extremely well.

STORE MANAGER/DISTRICT TRAINER-Blockbuster Video-2001-2006
 Personally responsible for the hiring and training of any management hired for any of our district’s 12
locations. All district new-hires were required to attend orientation with me at my home store before
joining their teams.
ï‚Ÿ Was the assistant to the district manager and supervisor to all 200+ district employees.
ï‚Ÿ Responsible for all store operations at the flagship store: exceeding customer service standards,
maintaining staff as well as ensuring that cash management, product management and store appearance
are all within or above company standards.

Public Service:
ï‚Ÿ Participated in the creation and operations of Curlew Action Youth: a non-profit community program
dedicated to keeping kids off of the streets and participating in productive and safe activities. The program is
still running 15 years later with continued growth.
ï‚Ÿ Created the "Read for Life" program in which customers donated money in-store to assist in child literacy
supplies and support directed towards local schools and hospitals. The program netted almost $20,000.
