(1997 Jan March 2002) Job responsibilities : Maintaining a liaison with Shipping Lines & all other service vendors ensuring all shipment related information are sent to customers/ overseas office in time as required. Standardizing Costs, rate negotiations with Shipping lines and other service vendors and updating the rate sheet for the branch. Independently Looking after all Import Clearing from Sea port and Airport and solving the problems related to Import Clearance. Dealing with Government Authorities to Register the New Items bar code, FIRS DM Bar Code and relevant issues.
