SMR-500 Speedo Stick is an adhesion promoter designed for use in the automotive refinish industry to promote strong adhesion of paint on plastic parts like bumper covers and interior panels. It contains etching resins that coat and seal plastic to allow adhesion of all types of paint systems without prior sanding, though sanding further enhances adhesion. Speedo Stick is applied with an air gun or cloth and allows painting within 20-30 minutes as adhesion fully develops over 12-24 hours of curing.

Speedo Stick contains etching type resin that will coat and seal plastic parts so adhesion can be obtained with all types of paint systems. Speedo Stick will work on all OEM aftermarket bumper covers as well as interior plastic (i.e. door panels, dash pads, kick panels). Speedo Stick is easy to use and does not require prior sanding, however, sanding generally will further enhance adhesion. Does not contains isocyanates as do some competitive products. PACKAGING: Part Number Description Size Qty. Case SMR-500 SPEEDO STICK Aerosol 6 INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Wash parts thoroughly with soap and water and dry with clean cloth or blow dry. 2. Apply second coat after 3 minutes flash. 4. Apply primer or paint in 20-30 minutes. Final adhesion will occur as paint thoroughly cures. (usually 12-24 hours) 6.
