Computer Specialist/Engineer3 - Software Testing and Upgrade San Onofre, CA
 Developed an implementation plan to convert the power plant’s 7 existing databases to a Unicode
format. The databases encompassed the plant’s air and motor operated valve system. Part of a 9 member team that
tested and remediated 450 pieces of software over three implementation phases: A)Win 7 OS upgrade , B)Microsoft
Office 2010 Upgrade and C)Internet Explorer 8 upgrade.
 As a computer upgrade and testing specialist, performed testing of the Nuclear Power plant’s COTS applications for
compatibility with Microsoft Office 2010, Internet Explorer 8, and the Microsoft Win 7 Operating System. Tested
applications with various proprietary databases such as Oracle, SigSoft, and MS Access. Worked with client subject
matter experts to document install procedures and capture error messages for vendor and IT remediation. Supported
rollout operations for evening and early morning deployment schedules. Assisted clients with data backup and system
configurations.
 Worked with Desktop Management to resolve emergent deployment issues using SCCM. Worked with Network
Security to resolve AD group, print queue, and client rights issues. Worked with Network Engineering to troubleshoot
