She has had a varied career path from traditional architecture firms to community development to managing commercial construction projects. She has served as chair of the AIA Housing and Community Development Network KC advisory group, was the NOMA magazine editor for five years, and was an Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow in San Francisco. The project provided renovation and renewal to the common areas of the existing facility, including millwork upgrades, additional storage provisions, new doors and hardware, directional and ADA signage, and wood staining and refinishing of chair rails and baseboards. The project was a collaborative partnership between DPWES and DHCD and required continuous, detailed coordination with property management, the operations staff and the residents to keep the three-part facility operational throughout the renovations project.

Coinciding with difficult access issues, our backs were against the wall to complete this project before the weather turned in late Fall.
