WORK EXPERIENCE
Training NCO
U.S. Army - Oxford, MS - December 2010 to January 2015
• Prepared, coordinated and integrated all travel within the Defense Travel System (DTS) for a company of 65 soldiers to
include the Commander and First Sergeant.
• Developed and implemented spreadsheets that tracked all aspects of travel and ensured deadlines and suspense dates
were met. This spreadsheet was adopted as the standard for the Battalion.
• Utilized SharePoint and Microsoft Outlook to manage calendars and coordinate meetings in order to de-conflict schedules
and ensure efficient operations.
• Served as Personnel Security Manager for the unit and worked within JPAS to initiate, track (through management of
SCAR-Security Clearance Access Roster) and ensure completion of security clearance packets.
• Maintained and ensured accuracy within various organizational systems to include; JPAS, DTS, MyUnitPay, SIDPERS
(personnel management), and DTMS (Digital Training Management System).
• Completed expenditure forecasts to ensure state funding for necessary advance party personnel.
• Managed and reconciled unit funds including operating expenses and maintenance of unit facility.
• Responsible for writing the Commander memorandums for distribution within the unit and to company personnel.
• Responsible for consistent and clear written communication with Joint Force Headquarters personnel in situations dealing
with matters of consequence to the unit soldiers (payroll, insurance, health records, disciplinary action).
• Devised, and implemented training plans, guidelines and procedures, reports and assessments for the unit
and individuals assigned.
• Prepared training guidelines, individual training records, operation orders, mobilization plans, Standard Operating
Procedures, and readiness report in accordance with Army training doctrine.
• Prepared yearly training plans and training schedules for approval of Commander and higher headquarters.
• Coordinated training programs for the unit to include scheduling of training areas, obtaining equipment and other materials
required for testing of personnel and evaluators or test officers.
• Procured, designed, reproduced, and distributed a variety of training aids, map overlays, and transparencies that are
necessary to unit personnel for efficient operation and training of the unit.
• Initiated requests for equipment training support to higher, adjacent, and other military commands to support unit training
objectives.
• Assembled and maintained statistics on all training and unit critical data.
• Maintained working relationships with local officials for a variety of such purposes as unit security coordination with local
police, unit participation in celebrations, or fund raising drives, and provided public information about unit activities.

U.S. Army - Senatobia, MS - January 2007 to December 2010
• Served as the principal administrator responsible for performance of a variety of technical, analytical, advisory, liaison, and
coordinating duties for the Unit Commander and First Sergeant.
